In Semiconductors plants, also commonly called Fabs or Foundies, a large amount of welds are made for high purity process piping installations transporting different rare gases througout automated gas delivery systems to manufacture chips on a silicon substrate (also known as “wafer”) thanks to lithography equipment which use these gases to etch the semiconductor chips using chemical vapor deposition (CVD).
