SATO-115 AVC/OSC Open Head Orbital Weld Head
The SATO-115 AVC/OSC open head orbital weld head is engineered for high-precision orbital TIG welding on tube diameters from 0.75 to 4.5 inches. Designed for demanding industries such as power generation, chemical processing, and petrochemical applications, this system delivers consistent, high-quality welds on stainless steel and exotic alloys.
Equipped with integrated arc voltage control and oscillation, the SATO-115 AVC/OSC is powered by the SAXX power source, and enables precise control of arc length and electrode positioning for multi-pass welding applications. The motorized AVC system maintains a constant electrode-to-tube distance, while oscillation provides uniform bead distribution across thicker wall sections up to 0.5” ( 12.7 mm). Its compact open head design, combined with a 200 A liquid cooled system, ensures reliable performance in confined spaces and continuous production environments.
