With its compact design, the range of open welding heads (SATO series) allows to achieve very high-quality welds in minimal space. Open heads are mainly recommended for the power generation, chemical and petrochemical sectors, for wall thicknesses less than and greater than 3 mm.
Open heads offer wide range of welding possibilities thanks to torch tilting and the optionnal addition of filler metal. They can be used also with oscillation (OSC) and arc distance control (AVC).
